College of Arts and Sciences sophomore Joan Ocampo-Yambing, a computer science major from Minnesota, was a member of our College’s Dean’s Fellows program. She was a true embodiment of the ideals of that program. As a published poet who was also about to declare a computer science major, she was gifted in both the arts and the sciences. She was an emerging leader, particularly in Campus Ministry, and was beloved by all who knew her.
