Eric Bredahl’s interest in exercise science was ignited during his undergraduate coursework and fostered during his four years working as a rehabilitation technician at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colo. During his doctoral work in exercise science at the University of Northern Colorado, he studied the capacity of exercise to minimize chemotherapy-induced muscle dysfunction.
His current research is focused on investigating the mechanisms behind cancer treatment related muscle dysfunction and how exercise interventions can minimize the decline in muscle function. He is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
